Overall condition fair to poor. There are scratches to the reverse of the clasp and some shallow dents. The garnets are fairly well matched with scratches visible with magnification. There has been some repair where the chain joins the clasp, with visible lead solder and damage to the link detail. The links appear to have molded into a solid block. There is a significant area of damage to one part of the chain, where it has been solder repaired and damaged, there is discolouration to some links and wear in keeping with the age of the chain. There are chips to some of the diamond points visible with magnification, they appear quite grey, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. The clasp is a little loose and may need to be secured. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
