An early 20th century platinum emerald and diamond floral brooch.

Lot Description
An early 20th century platinum emerald and diamond floral brooch. Of openwork design, the three old-cut diamonds, within a square-shape emerald tapered line surround, to the old-cut diamond floral border. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20ct, H-J colour, VS2-SI2 clarity. Length 3.7cms. Weight 7.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. The diamonds are bright, there are small inclusions visible to some. Some of the settings may need to be secured. The emeralds are quite well matched, one of the emerald has a couple of chips visible with magnification. The yellow gold channel settings to the emerald lines have possibly been restored/added at a later date. The back pin and catch is secure.
