A late 19th century 18ct gold split pearl and diamond mourning ring. Designed as a series of alternating split pearl and rose-cut diamond marquise-shape panels with black enamel border detail, to the black enamel tapered shoulders. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1878. Weight 4.4gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Split pearls creamy-white with surface imperfections. Size and nature of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. With registry of design mark, partially rubbed. Ring size K1/2.
