A late 19th century 18ct gold gem-set brooch. The hardstone cameo, carved to depict a woman with shawl in profile, to the cultured pearl and vari-cut ruby surround. Length 4.6cms. Weight 23.4gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The cameo and cultured pearl surround are later replacements. The cameo has minor nicks. The rubies are a well matched deep red hue with moderate abrasion. one of the rubies is cracked across. The back has possible alterations.
