Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver cigarette box, of plain rectangular form, the slightly domed lid with personal engraving dated 1916, with wood lining. Hallmarked Harrods Stores Ltd (Richard Burbridge), London 1916. Length 4 1/2 inches (11.4cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some pinhole dents to the sides. Harrods logo to the tooled leather base. Personal engraving reads " "Thomas," from E.M.D. and M.D. 1916." Total weight inclusive of wood interior 274.8 grams. The hallmarks are slightly worn.
