American large vanity jar, the florally cut glass base with shaped detachable lid, marked sterling 800, with floral chasing. Made by R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor nibbles and chips to the glass. Minor dents and bumps to the lid. Lid also marked Patent applied for.
