A George III silver vinaigrette of small oblong form, basket weave engraving to the pricked borders, silver-gilt interior with simple pierced grille. Hallmarked Samuel Pemberton Birmingham 1808. Length measuring 2 cm, weight 5.6 grams.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
A hole has been drilled to the side of the vinaigrette. Minor dints to the body. Repair to the grille hinge. The hallmarks appear worn but legible.
