Victorian silver jug of baluster form, ornately engraved with intertwining geometric lines amongst scenes of birds and foliage, with central vacant cartouche, scrolling acanthus leaf capped handle with ivory insulators. Hallmarked Robert Hennell III London 1859, retailed by J. Mayer, Liverpool. Height measuring 10 1/2 inches (27 cm), weight 27.66 ozt (860 grams).

Condition Report
The lot appears in clean condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A number of dents to the body and foot, causing it to wobble. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The engraving is in good condition.
