A Victorian 15ct gold diamond and seed pearl bar brooch. Designed as a belt buckle, set with an old-cut diamond and seed pearls, within a bead and rope-twist surround. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1897. Length 4.1cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Dents and scratches in keeping with general wear and age. Memorial hair panel to the reverse. Possible replacement pin. Diamond bright with small chip to the table. Seed pearls creamy white with minor surface abrasion.
