Lot Description

A mid 20th century diamond bar brooch. The old-cut diamond line, with old-cut diamond spacers, each within a collet mount, to the knife-edge bar. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 7.1cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Wear to the white metal plating. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The diamonds have some eye visible inclusions. Two of the diamonds have noticeable chips at the girdle.
