A late 19th century gold amethyst pendant. Of openwork design, the oval-shape amethyst and pear-shape amethyst drop, to the scrolling foliate surmount, suspended from a rope-twist chain. Length of pendant 6.5cms. Length of chain 45cms. Weight 10.4gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Amethyst light purple hue with typical inclusions. Pear-shape amethyst drop is a later addition.
