Lot Description

A good pair of modern Minton pate-sur-pate porcelain vases. Each of two-handled ovoid form, the domed cover with ovoid finial, the dark sea green bodies finely relief-modelled with 'Nymph Training Cupid' and 'Nymph With Cupid In Armour' respectively, to celebrate the Minton Bicentenary (1993), printed marks, 14.25", (36cm) high, with accompanying certificates signed by Managing Director Hugh Gibson, in original fitted presentation box.
