Lot Description

An early Victorian oil painting on canvas. The half-length portrait study depicting a gentleman holding a letter, 30" x 25" (76cm x 63.5cm), in period gilt frame with shell corner mounts.

Canvas is intact, paint however is very flat and dirty. Some scratches and marks also present. Frame gilt poor with losses to mouldings.
