A Waltham deck watch in gimballed case. Having a 2.25-inch Arabic dial marked "WALTHAM U.S.A." over circular motif '8 DAYS', wind indicator, and subsidiary seconds dial, the movement marked "WALTHAM WATCH CO. 8 DAYS", numbered 23293883, with cut-away backplate beneath screw-on cover, in a gimballed brass frame, the two-tier chronometer-style box with brass mounts and plaque engraved "WALTHAM",
