Lot Description

A Victorian mahogany-cased single-fusee wall clock of small proportions. Samuel Hunter, Clapham (b.1807), having an 8" cream-painted Roman dial inscribed "SAMUEL HUNTER CLAPHAM", with unmarked four-pillar chain-driven timepiece movement, the case with glazed bezel, moulded surround and box back, 11", (28cm) high, sold with pendulum and winder.

Dial - minor flaking/scratching but generally good and untouched.
Movement - appears sound but untested and sold as seen.
Case - two pegs missing. Base door is loose and is missing two pieces of cockbeading. Hinge holes will need plugging prior to reattachment.
