Lot Description

A mid 20th century anodised Fortin-type stick barometer. W. & J. George, Birmingham, No. 2020, the silvered tubular scale reading from 27 to 32 inches of pressure, (68cm to 83cm), with vernier, over mercury thermometer and brass cistern, 38", (97cm) high, on an oak shield-shaped backing, 44", (112cm) high overall, (AF), together with an oak aneroid barometer, (2).
