A mid 19th century mahogany cased eight day painted dial longcase clock, signed 'Butterworth, Bacup' having a 13" (33cm) dial, with black painted Roman numerals, the hood with arched glazed door flanked by turned columns, the case with a short trunk door flanked by fluted reeded corner columns, the panelled base terminating with splayed bracket feet 95" (241.25cm) tall

Dial is heavily worn with faded paint and losses, the front of the case has veneers missing, the rear feet of the case are missing
