Lot Description

A mid 19th century mahogany cased eight day painted dial longcase clock, signed 'Butterworth, Bacup' having a 13" (33cm) dial, with black painted Roman numerals, the hood with arched glazed door flanked by turned columns, the case with a short trunk door flanked by fluted reeded corner columns, the panelled base terminating with splayed bracket feet 95" (241.25cm) tall
