A Victorian silver christening mug with arched geometric engraving, personal name engraving and raised above a circular footed base, hallmarked Walter & John Barnard London 1881, retailed by Hall & Co 56 King St Manchester, numbered 3355, height measuring 4 inches (10 cm). Together with a pair of George III silver Fiddle Pattern sugar tongs with initial engraving, hallmarked William Bateman I London 1781. Gross weight 6.4 ozt (200 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
A dent along with smaller dints visible to the mug, gilding to the interior worn. The sugar tongs have worn thin. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
