Lot Description
A pair of Georgian silver open salts, florally embossed, crested and raised above three hoof feet, hallmarks almost completely erased. Together with a late Victorian silver heart shaped embossed trinket box, personal inscription to the underside, hallmarked Birmingham 1894. Gross weight 5.5 ozt (171 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Minor dints and bumps. Some loss of definition. The gilding to the open salts has worn, hallmarks and personal initial engravings to the underside are almost completely erased. Dent to the bottom rim of the trinket box remnants of old polish to the recesses, the lid does not close and remains open at approx. 1 cm gap. Maker's mark worn to the trinket box.
