A pair of Edwardian silver open salts, the circular body with applied girdle and band of foliate engraving with blue plastic liners. Hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd Birmingham 1901. Height measuring 1 1/2 inches (4 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

The liners are fixed in position and display heavy abrasions. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.
