Lot Description

A selection of silver to include a George III sugar sifter, a 1950's leaf caddy spoon by Asprey, a selection of cutlery, three silver napkin rings, a silver plated napkin ring, a lidded mustard pot and a cigarette case. Sugar sifter hallmarked William Eley & William Fearn, London, 1801. Weight excluding silver plated napkin ring 11.27 ozt (350 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette case is heavily dented, engraved "Clement Thomas". The asprey caddy spoon is torn at the handle, signed Asprey, London, hallmarked Geoffrey Guy Bellamy, London 1955, maker's mark overstruck. The mustard has a colourless glass liner, heavily chipped, the mustard is very worn, noticeable holes, hallmarks worn.
