A late 19th century 18ct gold split pearl brooch. Designed as a lyre featuring a stylised winged angel with scroll detail, to the openwork strings and graduated split pearl line accent. Length 3.2cms. Weight 12.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age. Slight wear to the gilt surface. There are noticeable scratches to an area on the back, possibly from previous gold testing. One split pearl deficient. Brooch fitting in working order, the catch is slightly misshapen.
