Lot Description

A silver key wind open face fob watch signed Charles E. Sibley, Portsmouth, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, ornately decorated round case, hallmarked Birmingham 1882, numbered 37138, fitted with an unsigned Swiss bar movement with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 39mm. Together with a continental white metal key wind open face fob watch. Case diameter 38mm.

Charles E. Sibley fob watch, movement is not currently functioning, balance appears intact, train appears free, there is an issue with winding the barrel, there is a loose component with the key wind, dial shows discolouration, debris and marks, hands are discoloured and scratched, glass is scratched, case has medium scratches from use, inner bezel is noticeably discoloured, case back is scratched, design to case is lightly rubbed, bow and pendant are scratched.


Lot also comes with open face fob watch, movement is currently not functioning, dial is heavily discoloured, one hand is missing, the hand that is in place is discoloured and marked, glass is scratched and showing residue, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched and worn, bow and pendant are scratched, bow is loose.
