Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch signed A.G. Mascall, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case with milled band, engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche to the rear, hallmarked Birmingham 1876, fitted with a signed full plate going barrel movement. Case diameter 52mm. Together with a silver keyless wind open face pocket watch.

A. G. Mascall pocket watch, movement is currently functioning and would benefit from a service, dial shows discolouration, marks and cracked under inspection, subsidiary dial is loose and sits lower than the main dial, hands are discoloured and show marks, glass is scratched, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched and design is rubbed, hinges to case function, bow and pendant are scratched.


Lot also comes with open face pocket watch which is not functioning, dial is discoloured and marked, hands are heavily discoloured, glass is missing however there are noticeable glass fragments to the case, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched from use, bow and pendant are scratched.
