Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with decoration to the centre, black hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round ornately decorated case, vacant cartouche to the rear, hallmarked Chester 1889, fitted with an unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 41mm. Total weight 62gms.

18ct gold key wind pocket watch, movement is currently functioning but would benefit form a clean, dial is scratched and marked, Roman numerals show wear and damage, hands are discoloured and marked, glass is lightly scratched from previous use, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched from use, hinges to case appear to function as normal, bow and pendant are scratched.
