Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face fob watch, the gilt dial with floral detail to centre, Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round case with floral rim, engine turned detail and vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1850, full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, signed Whitmore & Son Northampton. Case diameter 39mm. Total weight 46gms.

Open face pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, dial is scratched and scuffed with tiny marks, hands are marked, hands are slightly bent, glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches, engine turned decoration to the case is slightly worn, some small dents to the rear of the case, bow has medium scratches and tiny dints.
