Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the off-white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked London possibly 1867, rubbed vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with an unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 53mm. Watch A/F.

Key wind pocket watch, movement is not functioning, hair spring is in poor condition and balance appears at an angle, movement is discoloured and scratched, pins to secure dial to movement are partially missing so movement is loose, dial is heavily discoloured, scratched and cracked, there is noticeable chips to the paint work, hands are discoloured and marked, seconds hand to subsidiary dial is missing, glass is discoloured and does not secure to case, case is tarnished and showing scratchesand dents, design to case back is heavily worn, bezel does not secure to case, bow and pendant are scratched.
