Lot 116

Lot Description

A pair of Emil Fischer Hungarian pottery intarsio vases. Each of two-handled baluster form, one decorated with musicians walking through the snow, one with a double-bass, the other vase decorated with a shepherd and flock, printed and impressed marks, 9.5", (24cm) high.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both have all-over crazing and brownish varnish (or nicotine staining?) which looks like restoration to the naked eye but is not - however, this could do with being removed. Fine grey rim crack to snow vase. Crack to one handle. Some minor flaws but generally appear sound.
