Lot Description

A good Victorian brass and carnelian-mounted coromandel jewellery box. Decorated to the domed hinged cover and the rectangular body with foliage-engraved gothic-style strapwork mounted with red cabochons within copper wire borders, enclosing a silk-lined interior, 9" x 4.5" x 6.5" high, 23cm x 11.5cm x 16.5cm).
