Lot Description

An unusual French four-glass clock with ship's wheel pendulum. Samuel Marti & Cie, the 4-inch white Roman dial with recessed centre having a partially visible Brocot escapement, the two-train movement with exposition stamp and numbered 10692, the pendulum rod connecting to a ship's wheel on A-frame stamped 'BREVETE S.G.D.G.", the bevelled four-glass case with cavetto-moulded roof and base, 13", (33cm) high.
