Lot Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold locket, circa 1870. Of oval outline, the floral engraved panels, each within a scrolling surround, to the tapered surmount. Length 6.5cms. Weight 13.9gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Wear to the gilt finish. Slight area of heavier scratches to one side of a panel. Heavier scratches and discolouration to inside of locket. Glass deficient. Securing rims possible replacement.
