Lot Description

A late 19th century 15ct gold citrine and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape citrine, within a split pearl surround. Length 2.2cms. Weight 4.4gms.

Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches to the brooch and some areas of discolouration in keeping with the age of the brooch. The citrine is a golden yellow with an even saturation of colour. The split pearls have a cream body colour, there are cracks and areas of damage to the nacre of many. Stamped 15ct to reverse.
