Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold peridot and split pearl pendant. The rectangular-shape peridot, within a split pearl scrolling surround, suspending a pear-shape peridot drop, may be worn as a brooch. Length 4.6cms. Weight 7.9gms.

Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The peridot are a yellowish green with a moderate saturation of colour. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the central peridot. The pear-shape peridot drop is chipped. The split pearls are fairly well matched, some have a slightly greyer body colour, there are blemishes visible with magnification. Stamped 15ct. Some settings may need to be secured.
