Lot Description
A mid 20th century 14ct gold diamond and synthetic sapphire brooch. Of cartouche outline, the openwork foliate panel, set with old-cut diamond accents and central circular-cut diamond with heart-shape synthetic sapphire highlight. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Later hallmarks for London, 2009. Length 4.9cms. Weight 4.1gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Slight wear to the white metal plating. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, the principal diamond has scattered inclusions, some surface reaching. Some diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
