ELIZABETH GAGE - an 18ct gold ruby band ring. The oval-shape rubies, interspaced by geometric panels, to the rope-twist sides. Maker's mark for Elizabeth Gage. Sponsor marks for Leo de Vroomen. Hallmarks for London, 1971. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 14.1gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with minimal wear. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a well matched purplish red hue. Two of the rubies have very small, shallow minor chips. Minor abrasion. Width of band ring 1.6cms.
