Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with decoration to the centre, hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, round case with engine turned decoration to the rear, hallmarked London possibly 1843, fitted with a three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement signed Scott Wing & Co. Case diameter 44mm. Total weight 59gms.

Open face pocket watch, key wind movement currently not in working order but balance swings freely, movement in good cosmetic condition with slight tarnishing and scratches on 3/4 plate, gilt engraved dial in fair condition, roman numerals showing signs of wear,  blued hands tarnished in fair conditions, case and bezel in good condition, case back in overall good condition with slight scratches and no dents.
