Lot Description

A Victorian 18k gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with Roman numerals, floral detail to centre, round case with floral engraving to rear, hallmarked Chester 1859, unsigned full plate movement. Case diameter 41mm. Total weight 54gms.

18k gold pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently not functioning and will need a specialist attention, dial appears to be scuffed and slightly darkened due to the age of the watch, scuffs appear to be superficial only, hands are discoloured, glass is scuffed and it does not appear to be properly attached to the bezel as it pops out when the case is being opened, case shows general marks and scratches due to the age of the watch, majority appears to be superficial only, few dints visible to the bow, personal inscription to the cuvette.
