Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the silvered dial with decorated centre, hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round case hallmarked London 1845, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement signed H.Wilson, London. Case diameter 47mm.

A silver pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently functioning, the dial appears to be scuffed to the whole surface due to the age of the watch, it also shows tiny spots and stains in various places, possibly due to humidity, hands are tarnished, glass is slightly scratched, case appears to be darkened to the whole surface, also showing general marks and scratches, majority appears superficial only, case has noticeable dints in many places.
