Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch by Thomas Boyfield, the white dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped case, hallmarked London 1805, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement. Outer case diameter 55mm. Together with a silver key wind pair case pocket watch.

A silver pair case pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently not functioning, it generally appears to be in a very bad condition and will need a service, the dial is noticeably chipped to the edge between twelve and three o'clock, it also has scratches to the whole surface and debis is noticeable, minute hand is missing, glass is heavily scratched, case is discoloured, darkened and shows general marks and scratches from use. Watch appears to be in a poor condition.


Second pocket watch is also at fault and appears to be in a much worse condition. .
