A selection of four enamel brooches.

Lot Description
A selection of four enamel brooches, to include a J Aitkin & son enamel butterfly brooch, an enamel butterfly brooch, a blue paste, blue and green enamel openwork brooch and an enamel abstract brooch. One with marks indicating silver. Lengths 3.6 to 2.5cms. Total weight 14.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of black tarnishing to all of the brooches. The enamel to the openwork brooch is chipped, the back brooch fitting is deficient. The enamel to the abstract brooch is chipped in places, specifically to the reverse. The purple enamel to the one butterfly brooch is chipped, there are scratches and wear to both. The larger butterfly brooch is stamped Stratnoid pro patent 3553.
