Lot Description

A late Victorian gilt coral bracelet, circa 1880. Designed as a series of geometric carved links, each with faceted terminals, to the carved coral and photograph padlock. Length 20cms. Weight 26.2gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Soft solder repair marks to faceted gilt detail. Gilt surface has worn away to some areas. Coral to padlock is a possible replacement. The colour and style of carving does not match the bracelet links perfectly. Each coral link varies slightly in sixe and shape.
