'Spider Girl', a rare 1930s Goldschieder ceramic figure by Josef Lorenzl, her dress painted with cobwebs, a butterfly, ladybird and a beetle, printed maker's marks, Made in Austria, Lorenzl, impressed 5917 423 11, 10" (25cm) high, together with a second figure in green dress holding a terrier, another at her feet, impressed 609 beneath the oval base, 12", (30cm) high, (2).

Goldshielder figure has small chip to edge of back base. Heavey crazing/left hadn and tip of cape restored. End of right hand possibly restored with signs of professional overspray. Other figure has chips in base and heavy surface crazing.
