An unusual 19th century Meissen porcelain cabinet cup

Two items of 19th century Meissen porcelain. Comprising a vase, with scroll-edged frilled rim over bulbous body finely painted with two panels of birds, (peacock, turkey, cockerel, goose, ducks etc), between flower-encrusted shoulders on fluted spreading socle, underglaze blue crossed swords, 5", (12.5cm) high, and an unusual 19th century Meissen porcelain cabinet cup, amusingly decorated with an oval panel of a grey tabby cat pouncing upon a cockerel before a landscape, within gilded and foliate borders reserved on a white ground decorated with scattered insects and other flowers including a pink-tinged tulip, the interior with gilt interlaced hoop rim and yellow flower to centre, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, 3" diameter x 1.9" high, (7.5cm x 4.8cm), (2).
