Lot Description

An Edwardian set of five silver teaspoons with mask and scroll stems, hallmarked Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1906. Together with a modern set of four silver bottle labels with scrolling borders for 'Sherry', 'Gin', 'Brandy' and 'Whiskey', hallmarked William Adams Ltd, Birmingham 1977, a 1920's silver mounted hand mirror with vertical engine turned decoration, hallmarked Daniel Manufacturing Company, Birmingham 1927, and two further silver teaspoons. Gross weighable silver 4.84 ozt (137.3 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The bowls for a number of the spoons are dented, one with a nick in the edge. The detailing to the hand mirror is slightly rubbed, the date letter is also rubbed and the maker's mark is difficult to see. Initial engraving to one teaspoon and hand mirror.
