Both vinaigrettes display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  More wear around the edges and corners to both and to gilding.  Also some minor dints and bumps.  Also some loss of surface detail to decoration, especially on the Victorian example.  Some small solder patches visible on the Georgian example, especially a circular patch in the middle of one end.  Hinges on both are in working order, including grille hinges.  Some slight rubbing to hallmarks but they are all still clear and legible.
