Lot Description
A selection of late Victorian gold diamond and turquoise jewellery, the brooch designed as a circular turquoise cabochon dome with central rose-cut diamond star, to the stylised knot surround suspending two tassels, the earrings of similar design. Length of brooch 7.3cms. Length of earrings 2.1cms. Weight 24.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The gem section to the ear pendants is possibly replacement, with soft solder visible to the reverse. The gem-section to the brooch is possible replacement, with base metal mount and base metal wires holding the panel in place. Some turquoise deficient to brooch. Some turquoise discoloured. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Repairs to the brooch near tassels. Small tears to the knot surround. The earrings have hook fittings for pierced ears.
