Lot Description

A selection of late 19th to early 20th century silver and white metal brooches, to include a late Victorian silver 'Edith' name brooch, a Mizpah brooch, a double horseshoe brooch and various silver brooches of floral of foliate design. (19) Twelve with hallmarks for silver. Total weight 68.8gms.

Overall fair to good condition, with light surface scratches and minor nicks in keeping with general wear. The pieces are showing varying degrees of tarnishing. All brooches have pins, at least three look to have replacement pins. The enamel to the enamel brooch is in good condition with no chips. One of the oval floral brooches has a very small split to the silver where it has worn through.
