Lot Description

A selection of late 19th century, silver and white metal jewellery, to include a filigree dragonfly pendant, an Edwardian silver button hook, a tortoiseshell pique brooch, inlaid with mother-of-pearl and a split pearl and black enamel crescent and star bar brooch. (13) Some items AF. Two with marks indicating silver. Total silver weight 78.4gms.

Overall condition fair. The are significant cracks to the tortoiseshell where it has dried out, there are cracks to the mother-of-pearl detail. There are areas of discolouration to all items. Some of the brooch fittings have been re attached. There are areas of abrasion to some of the gemstones. Some items are in need of repair.

Due to the quantity of silver items within this lot we are unable to provide a condition report on each individual item. There are scratches wear and areas of tarnishing to many items, some items are damaged and in need of repair.
