Lot Description
Two mid 19th century gold micro mosaic brooches, to include a floral panel brooch within an 18ct gold scrolling embossed surround, together with a 9ct gold oval-shape brooch depicting Pliny's doves. Floral brooch scratch-engraved to reverse "Barberu, a Roma." Lengths 5.1 and 2.7cms.

The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Doves brooch with minor tesseri deficient from bowl. Floral mosaic surround heavily cracked, associated minor chips and nicks. Replacement fittings to both.
