A late 19th century gold garnet locket. The oval garnet cabochon, with suspended fringe, to the openwork surmount. Length 10.2cms. Weight 32.6gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the locket in keeping with overall wear. There are typical inclusions to the garnet visible with the unaided eye, one internal fracture is surface reaching. The locket has been re gilded, with possible replacement components.
